LOCKER ROOM LEADERSHIP

THE “LOCKER ROOM LEADERSHIP” CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Locker Room Leadership provides flexible options: 4, 6, 8, or 12 weeks. Football players are taught the G.R.I.T. mindset.

What is the G.R.I.T. mindset? The G.R.I.T. mindset contains four easy-to-apply character building components for the four-week program, and six components for expanded programs.

What is the G.R.I.T. mindset based upon? The G.R.I.T. mindset was created after extensive interviews with 40 NFL legends for the book, The Game before the Money: Voices of the Men Who Built the NFL. Lessons learned from Super Bowl champions, Heisman Trophy winners, and players who played for coaches such as Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, Bum Phillips, and Chuck Noll are at the heart of the program.

How does the program work? Student-Athletes are given a handbook containing valuable and inspiring information about leadership and character development. Each week provides a new theme, and uses a simple yet powerful hands on experience to apply the information. The program uses the appeal of social media to engage the players, and can easily integrate with your coaching throughout the season.

What does the program cost? Five to eight dollars per athlete. Additional options such as team visits and mentorships from former NFL stars, and workshops for coaches and team visits by the author of The Game before the Money and the G.R.I.T. mindset can be arranged at additional cost.
